DIY Clay Trap

I have been MIA the past week or so while I am waiting for my last batch of ceramics to go into the kiln. Though there have been no fun new pieces to show I have been keeping myself busy with things less fun, but just as important.

Thanks to a few sales this moth I have been able to filter some money back into the business! THANK YOU so much for all of the support ❤

I am now working on a much needed clay trap to stop clay particles going down the sink and clogging our pipes.

It. Has. Been. A. PROCESS. 😵‍💫

We have a very small area under our laundry sink and none of the standard clay traps would work for us (They are also very $$$). So I decided to put my plumbing hat on and lego up a solution.

It's halfway built at the moment and I can safely say that I will NOT be taking up plumbing as a proffession or hobby any time soon- much respect to all the handy folk out there.. But it should be well worth the effort 🤞
