Testing my new wheel

Testing out my new wheel for the first time today. It's the Shimpo RK-5T, it's portable - which makes it ideal for appartment living - we make do with the space we have, this is my set up in my linen cupboard in our hallway at the moment 🤣
Very humble beginnings but it gets the job done - and the quality is the same.

The wheel itself is great! It has a good range of speed and the slip guard catches most of the spill. The plastic Bats however are no good, they bump around a little to much on the wheel head and the clay slips off the non porous suface, which makes it a nightmare to center. So I will be ordering in a few new bats for my next batch.

A few more pieces required for my home set up - but I'm just excited I can start doing this full time 😁
